When visiting a pub, it’s always best to address any complaints or queries directly with the manager on duty. From my experience, pub teams are far more equipped to handle issues on the spot than the Wetherspoons head office team.

For instance, if you encounter missing items from an app order, ensure these are raised during your visit. Unfortunately, the head office is unable to trace such missing items or orders centrally, making it crucial to resolve matters locally.

Head office, known as the Wethercentre, is located in Watford, Hertfordshire. Fill out the ‘Contact Us’ form below to get in touch!

Support for pubs

The head-office teams work hard to make sure everything in pubs, kitchens, and hotels runs well and makes money.

They handle important tasks like checking how things are going (audit), managing day-to-day work (operations), fixing things when needed (maintenance), and promoting the business (marketing).

Through the Wethercentre, they give local teams the tools, resources, and support they need to do their jobs. Their new ideas (innovations) and smart planning have helped make Wetherspoons very successful.

How Do I Contact Wetherspoons About a Complaint

If you need to raise any complaints, it’s best to do so during your pub visit with the manager on duty. The teams at the pub are trained to handle queries and issues on the day much more effectively than the head-office team.

Inspirational role model

Amanda Dunn, an area manager at Wetherspoon’s, is a great example of how hard work pays off. She started as a student working part-time as a bar associate and worked her way up in the company.

Her journey is inspirational and shows how anyone contemplating applying for a job at Wetherspoons can grow and succeed. Amanda is a true role model for students and young workers!

In November 2023, Amanda completed her first year as an area manager. By January, she celebrated an amazing 20 years with the company, and in February, she marked her 40th birthday.

Amanda has built a successful Wetherspoon career while also raising her family, including her daughters, aged 15 and 12. Reflecting on her journey, Amanda says, “Life in the past has flown by, and I certainly feel proud of how far I’ve come.

Forever home!

Mike Morrissey, an area manager overseeing Wetherspoon’s pubs in Merseyside, Cheshire, and Lancashire, experienced a huge surprise during one of his routine pub visits.

When he arrived at The Friar Penketh in Warrington, he found friends, family, and colleagues waiting to mark his incredible 25th anniversary with the company. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to Mike’s dedication and hard work over the years.

Liverpool-born Mike joined Wetherspoon in October 1996 at the age of 21. Over the years, he has seen many changes and achievements. Along the way, several family members, including his dad, wife, and daughters, have also been part of the Wetherspoons story.

Mike’s journey reflects the strong family bonds and community spirit that Wetherspoons promotes.

Monster area!

Abby Herdman, an area manager, has followed a successful career path at Wetherspoons. She joined because she wanted to challenge herself and grow professionally. Her leadership ensures that these pubs run smoothly and continue to provide great service to their communities.

Abby was promoted to the area manager role in 2017. Since then, she has been responsible for overseeing a dozen pubs across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, and Stamford, which is near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.

This summer, Abby marked an impressive 20 years of work with the company. Her dedication and hard work have made her a valued member of the Wetherspoons team.

She admitted: “My area is a Monster area, so I travel a lot. But I have a great job, and the best part is the people“.

  1. I live in patchway South gloustershire it is a large are with lots of new housing being built but we do not have a pub in the area nearest one approx 2.5miles away we could do with a weatherspoons in thei area

  2. My husband and I go into Truro evey week to do shopping. Whilst there we normally have a meal and a drink in your establishment in Lemon Quay. We are both recovering alcholics. My husband is very happy with the choice of none alcholic lager. I was more than happy having Thatchers Zero. I was shocked to find out yesterday that you no longer do Thatchers Zero. I asked the very helpful lady behind the bar for other choices. She explained that there was lager and a fruit cider. None of which I like. I asked if they did an none alcholic wine. Apparently, not. Could you please concider improving your none alcholic selection.

Looking forward to receiving a reply.

    Kind regards.
